Job Details: Job Summary: The Inventory & Commissioning Support is a specialised logistics and support role. This position will perform picking and packing of parts and inventory, coordinate logistics and, while this role is not field based, will provide hands on support for ticketing equipment upgrades in the warehouse to ensure systems are ready for operation. This role often acts as a conduit between Warehouse operations and Installations and Commissioning Technicians, ensuring that the required parts and equipment is available and properly installed to meet safety and functional specifications. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Inventory: Pick and pack parts including kitting and issuing materials to I&C Technicians Track inventory Assist with periodic stock counts Processing returns or disposals Maintain meticulous records of Installations and Commissioning (I&C) inventory movements Coordination with Store persons members to ensure timely inbound and outbound delivery of components Commissioning Support: Perform software, network and system upgrades on all ticketing equipment prior to commissioning or installing in the field Undertake functional performance tests to ensure system effectiveness Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards, including proper handling of materials and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Assist in preparing initial commissioning plans and schedules Assist with preparation of progress reports and commissioning logs Escalate significant issues, those not resolved in a timely manner, or requests in breach of agreed service level targets, to the Regional Installation Manager APAC Build and maintain effective and professional working relationships with team members in cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth coordination of I&C activities General Duties and Responsibilities: Comply with Cubic’s Quality Management System Comply with Cubic Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures Comply with security in accordance with established policies and procedures Comply with Cubic Human Resources Procedures Other duties as requested Minimum Job Requirements:   Qualifications Senior School Certificate or equivalent – Essential Additional relevant trade or tertiary qualifications – Desirable Skills/Experience/Knowledge: Previous experience in a dispatch coordination and technical support environment Comprehensive computer and operating system knowledge and proficiency using Microsoft Office suite and other ERP systems Strong data entry skills to ensure quick and accurate entry of service request details Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Excellent problem-solving skills Demonstrated attention to detail, commitment to continuous improvement, ensuring compliance and standards are met Ability to work both autonomously and productively in a cross-functional team environment Personal Qualities : Ability to thrive in warehouse and office-based environments Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment Ability to stay focused and calm under pressure Positive can-do attitude Diligent with a proactive approach to work Approachable, adaptable and flexible The description provided above is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all job duties, responsibilities and requirements.
