Reporting into the Vice President, Operations, the Director of Operations will be responsible for supporting the ambitions of our valued Partners throughout the r egion by delivering our expertise in key business areas resulting in optimal patient care and creation of value for our stakeholders. You are a leader who has proven experience effectively managing a team, supporting our Partners in delivering best in class patient care and are driven by excellence.   You thrive in a high-growth environment   You adapt quickly to change   You’re a subject matter expert in your field and can influence others   You’re customer service oriented   In this role, you will   You will be the primary relationship manager and support contact to an assigned practice network and will oversee up to 40 pract ice locations while lead ing a team of Regional Managers   Identify opportunities to optimize practices driving service excellence and growth, accountable for monthly, quarterly, and annual targets   Develop and implement action plans for each dental practice   Identify and implement operating efficiencies and opportunities that optimize patient care & experience, grow revenue and profitability, drive engagement for practice level staff and ensure practices are physically maintained to set standards   Identify opportunities to foster relationships and synergies across assigned practice network   Identify opportunities and step in as necessary to improve the partnership between Practice Community and Support Centre to ensure service excellence   Facilitate and support opportunities to assist practices and drive goals through Support Centre SMEs ( e.g. Op erations Strat egy & Ins ights team) through the execution and/or implementation of new programs   Mentor, develop, and lead a team of Regional and Practice Managers   What we're looking for   Post-secondary education in Business Administration or a related field (University Degree or College Diploma required ); an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is considered an asset   Results-oriented, detail-focused leader with 3–5 years of experience overseeing multi-unit operations in industries including Dental, Healthcare, Retail, or Hospitality   Strong business acumen and extensive P &L ow ner ship ex perience   Proven ability to drive sustainable, measurable, and profitable growth through rigour around financial and operating KPIs and metrics   Excellent leadership and collaboration skills; proven ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships across diverse groups and levels   Proven ability to execute large-scale projects involving numerous stakeholders   Strong organizational and time management skills and ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously   Must have va li d driver’s license and a vehicle with ab ility to travel (overnight stays will be required )   About Dentalcorp   Dentalcorp is Canada’s largest and fastest growing network of dental Practices, committed to advancing the overall well-being of Canadians by delivering the best clinical outcomes and unforgettable experiences. Salary is determined based on the candidate’s work experience and will be discussed during the interview process.
