Job Title: Manager - Investment Data Services Function: Investment Operations Sub Function: Investment Data Services Location: Mumbai Shift: UK hours Job Purpose: Part of the Investment Data Provision team, ensuring accurate and timely setup and lifecycle management of investment data. This role is responsible for maintaining high standards of data quality, supporting operational and regulatory requirements, and delivering effective data servicing to internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Set up and manage assets, funds, financial products, benchmarks, and reference (static) data. Oversee lifecycle events including coupons, Sec Master, LEI, sustainability attributes, and analytics. Ensure accuracy of asset-level terms and conditions and proactively affirm data quality standards. Conduct data reviews and enforce governance protocols. Monitor risk and control effectiveness to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls. Manage and resolve complex data queries, service requests, and technical issues from clients and regulators. Provide support to dealing desks and collaborate with stakeholders across investments, client servicing, regulatory, and global teams. Conduct data analysis and report KPIs to support business decisions and drive service excellence. Lead and manage the Data Services team, fostering continuous improvement and innovation. Drive automation, standardization, and scalability of data operations. Knowledge & Skills Strong understanding of investment data lifecycle, reference data management, and market conventions. Familiarity with financial instruments and platforms (e.g., Aladdin, Bloomberg, Reuters, Refinitiv, Fundipedia). Proficiency in data tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, Excel). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Effective stakeholder management and team leadership capabilities.
