We are currently looking for a Class 1 Truck Driver to join our Charny team! Why join Sanimax Permanent, full-time position – 40 guaranteed hours per week Hourly wage of $29.99/hour $2.25/hour shift premium (between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM) Comprehensive group insurance program Telemedicine services Pension plan with employer contribution Gym membership and physical activity reimbursement 95% local transportation On-the-job training provided Schedule Variable evening/night schedule Departure between 1:00 PM and 9:00 PM 4 shifts of 10 hours Responsibilities Collect and handle raw materials recovered and processed by the company (slaughterhouse and butcher shop by-products, grease barrels and restaurant oils, deceased farm animals) Load residual material barrels (up to 400 lbs) using a tailgate Operate various equipment, including vacuum trucks, to collect and/or dispose of materials Perform other related tasks as required (e.g., cleaning, material handling, painting of equipment) Requirements and Working Conditions Valid Class 1 driver’s licence Minimum of 2 years of experience Experience with dump trucks is an asset Ability to work independently Excellent physical condition Give meaning to your career and help us make a difference: become a transformation champion!
