We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Transportation Coordinator to join our team in Hamilton. Why Join Sanimax Schedule: Monday to Friday, 1:00 pm – 10:00 pm Competitive salary 60 738$ to 74 236$ (based on experience) Permanent, full-time position Comprehensive group insurance program (dental, medical, life insurance, disability insurance, etc.) Telemedicine services Pension plan with employer contributions Gym and fitness activity reimbursement Continuing education opportunities Possibility for advancement Key Responsibilities Assign calls to routes based on designated routes and driver locations Update the driver board daily, organize routes, and track kilometers and fuel usage Act as the main point of contact for day-to-day transportation tasks, collaborating with drivers, clients, sales, procurement, and internal teams Proactively inform procurement and customers about service deviations Troubleshoot and resolve potential delivery and pickup issues before they impact service Record, document, and analyze operational data to identify improvement opportunities Manage, create, and modify orders using ERP and Ortec routing systems Monitor and resolve inquiries through the ticket management system Analyze customer service data to correct discrepancies (e.g., visit frequency, volumes, container types) Check drivers’ logs daily and assign unidentified driving events appropriately Administer inventory control using the ERP system (M3) Conduct physical inventory counts on the production floor Assist with invoice receipt and processing Use creativity and initiative to develop solutions that ensure positive outcomes for our team and customers ​ Required Qualifications High school diploma required; post-secondary education or courses are an asset 1–2 years of experience in transportation, dispatch, customer service, or finance (industry knowledge is an asset) Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and general PC operations Experience with ERP systems and routing software Advanced skills in software applications and word processing, including adequate typing speed Spanish language skills are an asset Give meaning to your career and help us make a difference: become a transformation champion!
