The Opportunity Canopy Growth is seeking a Cultivation Planning Manager to join our Global Planning team in a permanent, full-time capacity. Reporting to the Director, International Planning & Allocation, this role is central to shaping and executing cultivation strategies across all Canopy production facilities, ensuring alignment with both domestic and international business objectives. This is a strategic, cross-functional role that requires more than just planning—it demands a deep understanding of the plant and cultivation processes, combined with the ability to translate that knowledge into actionable plans that work across multiple departments. You will be responsible for creating cultivation plans that optimize resources, meet market demand, and support the lifecycle of our diverse strain portfolio. Responsibilities   Lead cultivation planning processes across all production sites, ensuring alignment with global supply objectives and business priorities. Monitor crop performance and outcomes , collect and analyze data, and communicate key KPIs to support accurate, forward-looking supply projections. Participate in the Stage Gate process for onboarding and scaling new flower products, ensuring seamless integration into cultivation plans Collaborate within the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process , working closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Quality Assurance, Logistics, Procurement, and other stakeholders to drive alignment and execution. Contribute to the Strain Governance forum , providing strategic recommendations on strain lifecycle management within the Canopy portfolio. Oversee demand trends across Recreational, Medical, Wholesale, and International channels, ensuring cultivation plans remain agile and responsive to market changes. Identify and report crop health risks and assess potential impacts on supply chain performance, implementing proactive mitigation strategies. Other duties assigned Experience    Strong knowledge of cannabis strains, cultivation processes, and industry best practices. Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related field. Professional supply chain certification (e.g., APICS , SCOR ) considered an asset. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in advanced planning systems ( Rapid Response preferred). Expertise in capacity planning , inventory management , and production scheduling . Hands-on experience with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) , Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) , and related processes. Other Details This is a full-time position based remotely in Ontario.
