About the Position We are looking for a Foreign Exchange (FX) Options Trader based in London to work closely with our local and global FX options team and help manage our FX options portfolio. In this role, you’ll create, execute and evaluate trading signals, manage daily hedging, and partner with our sell-side counterparts for risk lay-off. This role offers opportunities for cross-asset and cross-region trading responsibilities. Our FX options hub is in New York, and we have utilised shared resources with  desks in London and Hong Kong. You’ll sit alongside our options team in London and collaborate closely with colleagues globally. We are actively expanding our FX options trading and capabilities  and plan to continue growing. You bringing strong product and landscape specific knowledge to the team during the prime FX Options hours would be instrumental in achieving this. We’re looking for someone who understands market nuance and is excited to push us in directions we are currently not pursuing. Our Trading team is full of highly motivated professionals who have created a culture of trust, respect, and collaboration. Your working relationships, trader intuition, and ability to analyse special situations will add value to our team.  About You 5+ years of experience in FX Options or similar Able to think critically and implement new ideas Strong technical skills in options pricing and programming (our research and tooling is primarily python) Experienced teaching others and open to learning new techniques Strong communicator with excellent planning, analytical, and people skills; comfortable coordinating across time zones Reliable and flexible team player with a positive attitude Detail-oriented, organised, and thorough, with a desire for continuous improvement Willingness to spend multiple weeks a year traveling to New York and Hong Kong Fluency in English is required If you're a recruiting agency and want to partner with us, please reach out to agency-partnerships@janestreet.com.
