You’ll be both a hands-on contributor and a mentor who drives technical excellence and architecture in both frontend and backend, while collaborating across the AI-powered Gen-e2 delivery model. Key Responsibilities Lead the architecture and development of secure, scalable backend services using Java 17+, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs Design and develop dynamic, modular frontend applications using Angular 14+, TypeScript, and RxJS Implement robust event-driven systems using Kafka and RabbitMQ, following distributed messaging best practices Integrate advanced frameworks like Apache Camel and Spring WebFlux to enable reactive, asynchronous flows Apply deep knowledge of design patterns and microservices architecture to ensure high cohesion and maintainability Implement and manage observability solutions for monitoring, tracing, and alerting across microservices Guide cloud-native deployments on IBM Cloud (advanced expertise), AWS, or GCP environments Deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes clusters (intermediate to advanced level), including Helm, autoscaling, and RBAC Define and enforce security standards using Spring Security, JWT, and OAuth2 Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and stakeholders to translate business goals into technical solutions Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and promote engineering best practices (Clean Code, TDD, SOLID, DDD) Lead teams through the full SDLC: requirements, architecture, development, testing, and delivery Handle conflict resolution and promote a culture of ownership and continuous learning Who You Are 8+ years in software development with solid Full Stack experience (Java + Angular) 2+ years in a Tech Lead or Team Lead role leading high-performing Agile teams Advanced expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data, WebFlux Deep understanding of Angular 14+, including modular architecture, state management, and RxJS Strong command of Kafka, RabbitMQ, and distributed systems design Hands-on experience with Apache Camel for enterprise integrations Expert-level understanding of software design patterns, system scalability, and clean architecture Advanced knowledge in monitoring and observability (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) Hands-on experience in IBM Cloud, including deployments, access policies, and networking Solid skills with Kubernetes, including Helm charts, namespaces, autoscaling, and access control Proven experience designing and securing APIs with OAuth2, JWT, and Spring Security Full proficiency in building and operating CI/CD pipelines Strong experience resolving team conflicts and coaching high-demand teams in fast-paced environments Advanced English, Spanish is a plus More About PALO IT We’re eager to adapt to change, learn from our experiences and move to meet our planet’s urgent needs.
