Meet the team: The Labeling Operations team is responsible for producing high quality labels to train our deep learning model. We label vehicles, pedestrians, and other objects, assess label quality and impact on performance, and continuously deliver data that allows for the continuous iteration and improvement of our product.  The more team members learn, the better they can review and analyze the data we collect. This helps ensure our output is the best possible input for everything from identifying a stop sign to detecting another car in the distance. We are looking for a driven Labeling Analyst to contribute to the development of our automated driving technologies. In this role, you will work with in-house tools to label sensor data coming directly from the Latitude fleet. The perfect candidate for this role is someone who is able to adapt in a fast-paced work environment, has a strong attention to detail, and has experience with computers and other software. What you’ll do:  Performs QA work efficiently at a high level Flag error trends and data discrepancies Contribute to training, policy, and tool testing Provide feedback and mentor new team members Perform specialized projects under the guidance of manager while balancing QA work Provide detailed feedback to our third party team Compile visuals in forms of slide decks and clarification documents Call out and demonstrate tooling deficiencies  Escalate quality concerns What you'll need to succeed: High School Diploma or GED equivalent with two years of employment experience required. Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred Experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or a similar suite of tools Strong communication skills, written and verbal Attention to detail Ability to maintain prolonged focus and attention to detail while sampling large volumes of data  The ability to report with clarity on bugs in tools, sample data, and labeling trends Nice to have: A basic understanding of Jira or other workflow management tools A basic understanding of Confluence or other wiki platforms Previous experience working for a self-driving company Enthusiasm for the autonomous vehicle / self-driving space Learn more about Latitude’s team, mission and career opportunities at lat.ai!
