Typical Accountabilities: • Ensure the deployed Business Insight teams are functioning at a highly effective level and insights generated are used to develop sustainable strategies and best in class marketing execution • Ensure that appropriate research methodologies, best practices and internal processes are implemented across the BI team • Ensure appropriate analytics are used by the Brand Teams to help in making the best decisions in an efficient manner • Lead and coordinate assigned Business Insight Directors, facilitating sharing of research best practices and communicate insights across AZ Typical People Management Responsibility (direct / indirect reports): • Approximate number of people managed in total (all levels) - • Manager of a team What is the global remit? (how many countries will the role operate in?): Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience: • Essential: Bachelors Degree in relevant field,; Prior people management experience in a market research/analytical setting; Experience of leading a large team; Strong process orientation; Ability to work in ambiguous situations • Desirable: Advanced Degree (MBA); Prior experience in other areas of analytics (e.g. Forecasting, Promotional Response; Knowledge of the AZ business planning process Key Relationship to reach solutions: • Internal (to AZ or team): • External (to AZ): Compensation Pay Range: 214,206.40 - 321,309.60 USD Annual The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position is outlined above. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
