Drive the technology behind global clinical studies. As a Medical Imaging System Owner in Global Clinical Solutions Technologies (GCST), you’ll own the vision, lifecycle, and continuous improvement of a critical clinical computerized system, partnering across R&D, Clinical Operations, and vendors to accelerate study delivery and ensure quality and compliance. This a hybrid role: 3 days in office 2 days remote What you’ll do Own the system end-to-end : Lead design, development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing customer support. Define the   vision, roadmap, and growth strategy , prioritize the feature backlog, and manage lifecycle documentation and compliance with   ICH/GxP   and AstraZeneca policies. Champion continuous improvement : Research and analyze business context and user needs; define KPIs, monitor performance, and convert insights into process and system enhancements. Promote innovative ideas that improve speed, quality, and user experience. Lead cross-functional delivery : Provide leadership to service delivery teams; engage and influence internal and external stakeholders; represent the business in operational governance; communicate releases, incidents, and roadmap updates effectively. Enable study teams : Serve as the primary contact for Clinical Operations on GCS processes, technology, and services. Remove barriers, resolve issues rapidly via expert escalation routes, share lessons learned, and drive best practice adoption. Ensure validation excellence : Guide planning and delivery of   computer system validation   (core and study-specific), including production and archiving of validation documentation. Support audits and inspections; deliver CAPAs to time and quality; escalate risks when needed. What you’ll bring Education : Bachelor of Science (BSc) in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience. Domain experience : Extensive (5+ years) experience in drug development within pharmaceutical or clinical settings; strong knowledge of clinical study processes and technology. Regulatory and validation expertise : Deep experience (5+ years) with validation of computerized systems in regulated environments (validation plans, reports, test scripts), and working knowledge of   GxP   and   SOX   requirements. Delivery and leadership : Proven project management skills with delivery to time, cost, and quality; ability to collaborate, motivate, and empower cross-functional teams; success partnering with vendors. Communication and influence : Excellent written and verbal communication; negotiation, problem solving, presentation, mentoring, conflict management, and stakeholder influence. Nice to have Industry recognition : Expert reputation within the business or industry. Continuous improvement : Experience with   Lean Six Sigma   methodologies and ICH/GCP. Agile and service management : Recognized   Agile/SAFe   certification;   ITIL   experience across Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management. Data and reporting :   Power BI   dashboards/reporting certification and hands-on experience. Quality and process : Extensive Quality Systems/Quality Management experience; project management certification; experience designing and managing business processes to drive performance.
