Position Overview: The Anti-Reflective Coating Engineer will be responsible for developing and optimizing coating processes to enhance product performance. This role requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills, project management experience, and knowledge of automation and lean tools. Your Role The role of an Anti-Reflective Coating Engineer will involve: Develop and implement anti-reflective coating processes for optical products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure coating quality and efficiency. Utilize problem-solving tools and methodologies to address production challenges. Manage projects related to coating process improvements and automation. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean tools and techniques. Conduct research and stay updated on industry trends to drive innovation. Prepare detailed reports and documentation of coating processes and outcomes. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project alignment. Your Experience As an Anti-Reflective Coating Engineer you will have: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the optics industry with a focus on AR coatings. Strong problem-solving skills and familiarity with automation and lean tools. Proven project management experience. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Portuguese or Spanish (preferable). Proactive and able to work independently while being a supportive team player. Proven ability to collaborate effectively and communicate complex technical concepts clearly. Why Join Us?
