Department: Nursing Department Department's Website: Summary of Job Duties: Support the daily operation of the Center for Simulation Innovation, maintain Human Simulators and lab equipment, manage Simulation Lab supplies, perform Pre-Simulation activities, execute Simulation experience, perform post-simulation activities, provide technical support, maintain documentation and resources, and maintain Professional Development. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy. Qualifications: Required Education and or Experience: High school diploma; Currently enrolled in the AAS nursing program at the UA Little Rock School of Nursing. Preferred Education and or Experience: Simulation, nursing, and/or medical experience is preferred by not required.  Job Duties: Supporting Daily Operations of the Center for Simulation Innovation (CSI); Maintaining Human Simulators and Lab Equipment; Managing Simulation Lab Supplies; Performing Pre-Simulation Activities; Executing Simulation Experience; Performing Post-Simulation Activities; Technical Support; Maintaining Documentation and Resources; Maintaining Professional Development. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of basic simulation principles; Knowledge of basic simulation equipment; Knowledge of basic simulation technologies and audiovisual equipment; Ability to ensure appropriate setup and breakdown of simulation skills and scenarios including manikins, task trainers, hospital equipment, and supplies; Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; Ability to effectively communicate with simulation faculty, staff, and students; Ability to anticipate needs and initiate tasks without direct supervision; Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing simulation demands as needed; Ability to maintain simulation center cleanliness; Ability to professionally conduct simulation center tours.
