Department: Rhetoric & Writing Department Department's Website: Summary of Job Duties: This full-time, non-tenure-track Instructor position includes teaching in developmental, first-year, and intermediate composition; contributing to curricula and assessment; and participating in departmental, college, and university service and governance. Qualifications: Required Education & Experience Master’s degree in Rhetoric and Composition, Writing Studies, Technical Communication and/or Professional Writing, Creative Nonfiction, Public Administration, English, or other related discipline. Preferred Education & Experience Prior composition teaching experience with an emphasis on first-year students;  Experience teaching diverse populations of students; Organizational, written, and oral communication skills; Professional writing experience; Online or hybrid experience.
