Department: New Students and Family Programs Department's Website: Summary of Job Duties: The Parent and Family Programs (P&F) Graduate Assistant supports professional staff members in planning, implementing and assessing P&F programs and services. The Graduate Assistant(s) work closely on the implementation of major P&F programmatic areas including large-scale parent and family events, including family weekend, homecoming, tailgates, regional outreach events and graduation ceremonies. Parent and Family Graduate Assistant is expected to be student-centered, administratively sound, task-oriented, relationship-oriented, can problem solve, must have the ability to work autonomously as well as with a team and be proficient with computers. Small and large group facilitation skills, strong customer service skills and the ability to work successfully with a variety of constituents are also highly desired. This position will develop UA Career-Ready skills such as Career & Self Development, Teamwork, Communication, and Professionalism.
