Job Family : Operational Effectiveness Consulting Travel Required : Up to 10% Clearance Required : Ability to Obtain NACI What You Will Do : DoD Team lead will support a mission sustainment organization within the Army. In this role, the Team Lead will lead the team driving financial planning and execution, focused on roles including but not limited to budget formulation, funds execution, program management, and financial analysis. Day to day responsibilities may include: Collaborate with various Program Managers and requirements sponsors to analyze and address budgetary planning and execution plans and documentation. Assist with coordination, preparation, planning, and justification of the annual budget cycle to include schedules, briefings, and meetings. Work collaboratively with colleagues and clients in assessing budget and financial management practices and systems, developing solutions, and implementing business process improvements to align budget and accounting operations to strategic initiatives and objectives. Support the development of presentations of data results and findings from data collection activities and evaluations as required Apply knowledge of rules, regulations, policies, and practices to ensure adherence and address concerns or problems by developing rapport with colleagues, leadership officials, and outside agency personnel What You Will Need : Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "NACI"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their NACI prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE NACI or SUITABILITY are preferred. Bachelor's degree SIX (6) or more years' of experience leading teams in business process improvement, organizational transformation, or similar areas, including FIVE (5) years consulting experience. Experience analyzing complex concepts to develop draft requirements and recommendations for client delivery Experience building and monitoring organizational annual spend plan What Would Be Nice To Have : U.S. Army financial management experience (prior service or consulting support) Master’s Degree Experience in developing, submitting and defending an organization’s POM inputs to various  Headquarters, Department of the Army program evaluation groups Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail A self-starter and problem-solving mentality which includes the ability to research budget and accounting practices and standards to help solve complex problems Experience leading geographically dispersed teams.
