Job Description Summary Job Description Position Title : Assistant Manager - Taxation Department Finance Reports to: Leader - General Accounting Position Summary: The position will be responsible for tax compliance of the Company in India including statutory audit reporting and indirect taxes (GST). The person shall also assist in handling other projects relating to tax matters as per requirement. Principal Responsibilities: Indirect Tax Compliance: 1. Gathering all relevant documents and information required for filing GST returns on time and accurate basis. 2. Preparation of Statement of Revenue and Sales for each state where the Company has sales presence and submit it along with GST return. 3. Reviewing the statement of accounts prepared by the accountants and identifying any discrepancies if any. 4. Ensuring timely submission of Returns within due dates. 5. Following up with the consultant for timely submission of returns in case of delay. Statutory Audit Reporting: 1. Coordinating with Statutory Auditors for schedules related to tax matters. 2. Providing necessary assistance to Statutory Auditors for conducting statutory audits. 3. Reviewing the draft report submitted by Statutory Auditors before finalization. Other Projects: 1. Assisting in any project relating to tax matters as per requirement. 2.Support Revenue accounting and other areas of General accounting 3. Staying abreast with changes in tax laws and regulations and communicating the same to concerned persons in the organization. Minimum Qualifications: CA with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience. Experience: Previous work experience in a similar capacity preferably in a multinational organization of Big4 Consultancy firms Knowledge & Skills: • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal • Good interpersonal skills • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships • Computer literacy – MS Office • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision • Strong analytical and problem solving skills Required Skills Optional Skills .
