BD TCI is dedicated to serving BD’s customers and patients thereby contributing its bit towards “advancing the world of health ”.   Job Summary:   As   a   Senior Manager (Software Delivery Lead)   you will   drive the delivery of high-quality software solutions aligned with product roadmaps and business strategy within our MMS R&D organization. This role leads cross-functional   local   teams in new product development and sustaining activities for Pharma automation platforms, ensuring product quality ,   security, maintainability, and usability. You will define scope, timelines, and delivery plans in collaboration with   global teams   comprising   of   architects, engineers, and product owners . You will   oversee progress, mitigate risks, and ensure   timely   releases while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Managing a team of ~15 software engineers and technical leads across domains such as FSD, DevOps,   Data   analytics   and Databases,   in a   fast-paced   Agile SCRUM based development environment. Y ou will own day-to-day operations,   policy adherence,   performance   mgmt. / career development,   drive   execution excellence   &   contribut e   to   team growth at TCI.     Job Responsibilities:   (Primary Duties, Roles, and/or Authorities) Provide technical leadership and people management for delivery teams, including software engineers, DevOps engineers, and data analysts.   Establish processes and   best practices in the team   to deliver   SW   releases aligned with product and technology roadmaps.   Recruit, develop, and   retain   high-performing talent; provide mentorship and regular performance feedback.   Drive Agile ( SAFe )   practices for   design reviews, work breakdown, code reviews, and quality metrics.   Collaborate on technical   strategy   for new features and   assist   teams in producing design artifacts.   Partner   closely   with global teams to ensure seamless delivery and adherence to standards.   Monitor delivery progress, manage risks, and ensure compliance with quality and security standards. Education:     BE/B T ech Computer   S cience / Information technology / Electronics ,   Master's   degree preferred.     Experience :    At least   13 years of proven SW development experience , with   atleast   3 years managing 10+ size teams   in R & D/product development companies only   Hands on Engineering Manager -   S hould have progressed organically through the technical career path, advancing from an   IC   role to a managerial position.   Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:     Ability to lead   Tech Leads &   SW engineers across   diverse domains such as   FSD , DevOps   &   Data Analytics    Demonstrated analytical, decision making,   prioritization   and problem-solving skills.   Is result oriented and thrives   on   Integrity,   Agility & bias for action to drive   team   excellence    Strong business acuity and customer centricity.   Technical skills:    Programming   Languages   & Frameworks: C#, .NET, SQL , Angular, Tabl eau/Power BI   Methodologies:   SAFe , Agile   DevOps & CI/CD:   Azure DevOps,   Microservices architecture, automation pipelines / databricks     Project/Program Management: Proven experience in delivery planning and execution   People Management: Strong ability to lead and motivate diverse technical teams     Required Skills Agile Methodology, ASP.NET C#, C#.NET, C Sharp (Programming Language), Microservices Architecture, Program Management, Project Management, Team Management Optional Skills .
