Job Description Junior Payment Exceptions Agent Position Summary: As a Junior Payment Exceptions Agent, you will be part of a dynamic operations team responsible for identifying and resolving payment-related issues. Your role will focus on supporting the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, especially those that require manual intervention due to system exceptions. You will collaborate with internal teams such as investment sales, Compliance, and back-office operations to ensure smooth workflows and regulatory compliance. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start or grow their career in financial operations. You will receive training and guidance to develop your skills in payment processing, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication. Key Responsibilities: •    Review and investigate exceptions in financial systems. •    Support internal teams by responding to operational queries and assisting with issue resolution. •    Escalate complex issues to senior team members or relevant departments when needed. •    Document actions taken and maintain accurate records in line with company procedures. •    Communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues. •    Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement discussions. •    Learn and apply regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to payment operations. •    Assist in preparing basic reports and summaries for internal use. Qualifications: Education & Experience: •    High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in finance, economics, or business is a plus. •    Previous experience in customer service, administration, or financial operations is beneficial but not required. •    Willingness to learn and grow within a structured operational environment. Skills & Competencies: •    Proficient in English at a B2 level (Upper-Intermediate), both written and spoken. •    Strong attention to detail and accuracy. •    Basic analytical and problem-solving skills. •    Ability to work well in a team and communicate clearly. •    Familiarity with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook). •    Interest in financial services and operational processes. Hybrid/flexible schedule Location Expectations The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
