Job Title: Lead Gameplay Animator Requisition ID: R025423 Job Description: Lead Gameplay Animator Elsewhere Entertainment is looking for a Lead Gameplay Animator to join the development of an exciting new IP.   You will become and be part of a tight-knit team that prides itself on creating complex, high-quality and believable content.  Using your experience, on this project you will positively contribute to our studio — with a focus on inclusivity, mutual respect (for ourselves and our players), thoughtfulness, empathy, professionalism, and collaboration.   You’ll help us by... Leading your animation team and their work. Using traditional animation principles, gameplay fundamentals and motion-capture to craft high quality animations and systems Demonstrate a strong understanding of game design mechanics, 3Cs, AI behavior, narrative design, camera animation and facial animation. Working with multiple disciplines and departments to achieve unified goals Actively give input and respond well to feedback to achieve the polish level we need to deliver AAA titles Troubleshoot tool implementations and suggest workflow improvements to increase team efficiency and creativity You’re awesome because you have... 3+ years Professional Animation experience (or some combination of applicable training and experience) 1 or more shipped AAA game title credit Expertise and knowledge in game engines and building animation systems Experience of the motion capture process, editing and cleanup Strong animation fundamentals in human and creature movement (timing, weight, balance) Strong skills in leading teams Ability to adapt to new tools and tech Fluent in Maya Strong problem-solving skills both technical and cross-department   Ability to mentor Animators Ability to think philosophically about character movement Bonus points for...
