Prior to submitting your application, please review and update (if necessary) the information in your candidate profile as it will transfer to your application.  Job Title: Reporting and Analytics Consultant Department: Health Sciences | Government Resource Center T he Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC)   invites applications for a   Reporting and Analytics   Consultant   position   in the Population Health and Quality Improvement Analytics section .   A successful applicant will   engage in applied health services , quality improvement, and   population health research in a project-based, team setting .      Reporting and Analytics   Consultants   are expected to perform technical tasks   and   contribute to project leadership and administration , including as co-Principal Investigator or Principal Investigator . They are expected to complete work independently on   highly complex   tasks .   Reporting and Analytics   Consultants   may work on multiple projects at a time and have significant project responsibilities.     Typical responsibilities are project-specific and may include combinations of the following:   (1) leading highly complex   data or   research task s ; (2)   independently determining the   method(s) for completion of new projects (may receive guidance on overall project objectives); (3)   developing new practices, processes, metrics or models,   and providing   solutions which may set precedent for the organization; (4)   applying developed subject matter and methodological knowledge and advanced understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projects; (5) providing guidance to research project and project sponsor colleagues; (6) conveying   difficult, complex or sensitive information, and facilitating productive dialogue among project stakeholders ; (7)   review ing   work products from subcontractors   or junior researchers; (8)   design ing   and execut ing   linkage strategies for connecting administrative datasets.   Minimum Education Required:    Bachelor’s   degree in a relevant field or equivalent is   required .    Required Qualifications:   A minimum of   6   years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree or   4   years of relevant experience with a n advanced   degree   in a relevant field of study   is   required .   Requires successful completion of a background check.   Selected   candidate   may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.     Additional Desired Qualifications:    D emonstrated usage of   R,   SAS , or   SQL   for data   preparation and   analysis .   R coding experience   is   preferred.   Experience   processing and analyzing electronic health record data.
