Prior to submitting your application, please review and update (if necessary) the information in your candidate profile as it will transfer to your application.  Job Title: Assistant Professor - Learning Health Systems (LHS) Collaborative Department: Medicine | Health and Rehabilitation Sciences Assistant Professor School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences  Division of Physical Therapy  College of Medicine  Position Overview   The Ohio State University’s School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences invites applications for a tenure-track faculty member within our Learning Health Systems Collaborative at the Assistant Professor rank.  We are seeking faculty who will teach courses within the CARESTREAM program and Doctorate of Physical Therapy program while helping to establish a new program dedicated to applied learning health systems competency and health services research training in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences’ Learning Health Systems Collaborative. The position will entail teaching and mentoring consistent with expertise, developing and sustaining an extramurally funded and productive scholarship program through publications and presentations, and contributing to service needs of the School, College, University and appropriate professional organizations. We are especially interested in faculty members whose scholarship advances health services and learning health systems research aimed at strengthening hospital and health system outcomes and operational performance. Areas of particular interest include hospital harm reduction, fall prevention, rehabilitation service optimization, and facilitating transitions of care, with specific attention to supporting quality improvement and health service delivery model optimization.
