SUB-FUNCTION Sales sells activities, event space, services or products by identifying and persuading prospects and/or audiences. Can involve the promotion of activities, event space, services or products for sale via press, television and radio. Provides point-of-sale customer and inventory assistance for a sales operation of the organization. CAREER BAND Individual Contributor - Technical - Work is primarily achieved through individual efforts or by participation on functional or project teams. May coordinate, influence, or review the work of others. May be the primary owner/authority on a given program or process. Performs work of technical (i.e. skilled trade), operational, or administrative nature. Work is performed within clearly established guidelines and procedures. Execution of work is dependent on guidance and decisions made by others. At Lead level may coordinate and review day-to-day work of others. Typically does not require a university degree but post secondary education or training may be useful or required. CAREER LEVEL Entry level technical, operational, or clinical/business support role. Develops confidence and knowledge in technical and operational areas. Little or no previous knowledge and experience. Solves straight forward problems. Relies upon guidance and training from supervisor and more experienced colleagues. Significant support and feedback provided by supervisor including well structured work assignments. Limited opportunity to exercise discretion. Typically Interacts with immediate supervisor and work team or customers on routine matters. MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS High School diploma or GED. 0 years of relevant experience required. 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
