Duties and responsibilities are assigned in accordance with the workload guidelines laid out in the pattern of administration of each faculty member’s tenure initiation unit (TIU) and, as appropriate, regional campus; obligations will include research, service and/or teaching or clinical practice.  These faculty will have earned doctorate or other terminal degree in the relevant field of study or possession of equivalent experience. Additional Information: Position Overview   The Ohio State University’s School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences invites applications for a tenure-track faculty member within Medical Dietetics at the Professor, Associate Professor, or Assistant Professor rank.  We are seeking faculty who will: sustain or develop an extramurally funded and productive scholarship program through grants, publications, and presentations; teach within the Master of Dietetics and Nutrition (MDN), MS, and PhD programs in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences consistent with expertise, mentor students in each program; and contribute to service needs of the School, College, University and appropriate professional organizations. We are interested in candidates with established scholarly expertise at the intersections between food and human health, particularly with a focus on translational sciences and the implications on the prevention, treatment, and management of nutrition-related chronic disease, and/or improved health outcomes.
