Duties and responsibilities are assigned in accordance with the workload guidelines laid out in the pattern of administration of each faculty department and, as appropriate, regional campus; Clinical faculty are teacher/practitioners and will be engaged primarily in teaching activities.  These faculty normally have earned doctorate or other terminal degree in the relevant field or equivalent experience. Additional Information: The College of Optometry at The Ohio State University invites applications for a clinical track faculty appointment. We are seeking a candidate who will be an enthusiastic team member of our faculty, committed to training future clinicians, and serving as a role model for the profession at the College, State, and National level. Clinical interests may be in any of the following areas: contact lenses, binocular vision, pediatrics, vision rehabilitation, primary care, outreach, or diagnoses and treatment of ocular disease.  The successful applicant will be expected to contribute to the academic mission of the College through teaching and service, as well as engage in scholarly activity related to their clinical and academic focus.
