With more than 40 years of experience forging multisector partnerships and with expertise in science, economics, technology, advocacy, and dozens of other specialties, PATH develops and scales up innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing heath challenges.  About the Project There have been persistent efforts focused on improving primary healthcare (PHC) and overcoming the hurdles of low coverage and poor quality of health services through several Digital Health interventions. However, majority of these initiatives are designed with very specific clinical or administrative purposes and lack a comprehensive ecosystem approach resulting in multiple applications and digital portals in use for their health system. This cascades into poor accountability and performance, time and resource wastage, lack of continuum of care, and low coverage of health services, resulting in poor health outcomes. PATH is supporting the state of Maharashtra with digitization of primary level of care and health service delivery in select districts. The project intends to demonstrate end to end digitization in healthcare and develop a digital saturation model at district level, leveraging fit for purpose digital solutions/interventions through the use case of improving reproductive, maternal and child health service delivery indicators. The district saturation model will include coverage across rural & urban areas and service delivery across public and private sectors. The focus will be on digitizing healthcare facilities, community health initiatives/programs and deploying innovations for accelerating service delivery across continuum of care. The project aims to form a digitally competent health workforce, improve access to health and systems-level data for resource planning and management, enable creation of longitudinal health records for patients, and enable interoperability of digital systems across healthcare facilities. This will result in data-driven decision-making leading to improved access and service coverage, citizen empowerment, quality care, and enhanced healthcare provider accountability. These positive health outcomes, complemented by favorable policies, governance support, local leadership, and partnerships, will accelerate Universal Health Coverage (UHC). PATH is currently seeking for a Block coordinator – Digital PHC on Third Party Payroll (Randstad) for PATH’s Digital Primary Healthcare program in Maharashtra. PATH is looking for highly motivated, analytical professionals possessing a ‘will do attitude’ to work with the organization to support roll out of field activities and support program work in the district. The selected candidate will get an opportunity to work and contribute to a growing portfolio of impactful work in the digital health space. The expected skills include but are not limited to use of Microsoft office, navigating digital applications, comfortable with using the internet and common online platforms like google etc., good communication skills, etc. Responsibilities: Support liaising with district and block level stakeholders involved in project activities Work closely with the Block, District State and Central project teams for project implementation. Support district staff and ensure the timely achievement of deliverables. Coordinate with district administration and participate in district planning and review meetings to ensure proper implementation of interventions and related project activities. Ensure seamless coordination between project teams and other stakeholders. Support the State team with landscaping exercise and gap assessment in the district. Support training and capacity building activities for ASHAs, ANMs and others as per project requirements. Provide handholding support to field staff for project activities &/or other activities in their routine service delivery as per the need of the project. Facilitate IEC-BCC activities in coordination with the state team and district team. Support implementation of digital health innovations Document activities and progress of implementation for project reports. Support in the creation of presentations for updates and meetings. Undertake other tasks which may be assigned from time to time. Travel extensively across the district and state, whenever required for project activities.    Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience Minimum of 1-2 years of experience and demonstrated skills in public health program implementation (experience in digital health projects preferable) Experience of working with state and/or district level government health department is desirable but not mandatory. Freshers are also encouraged to apply. Willing to work in coordination with government public health facilities and field functionaries. Master’s degree in management or public health or social work or similar fields from a reputable graduate school Technical knowledge and field experience of planning and implementation of public health programs and health systems strengthening in Maharashtra, especially RMNCH. Familiarity with Indian public health system, flagship initiatives in health sector and relevant government policies/ strategies particularly NHM, Ayushman Bharat Health & Wellness Centers, ABDM, National Health Programs etc. Skills/ Abilities Proven ability to multi-task and collaborate work effectively with senior staff, colleagues, donors, partner organizations, stakeholders, local institutions, and others at all levels. Ability to work in a complex environment with multiple tasks, short deadlines, and an emphasis on quality. Excellent command over MS Office applications, especially MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint Fluency in English, Hindi and Marathi essential. Excellent analytical, communication, presentation and report writing skills. Excellent skills in facilitation, team building and coordination. Demonstrated ability to multi-task and thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure situations. Extremely detail-oriented, with the ability to communicate effectively. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-site organization and in a team-based structure. Proven effectiveness while working in a team-based environment, but capable also of working independently. Candidates with access to a two-wheeler will be given priority.
