With more than 40 years of experience forging multisector partnerships and with expertise in science, economics, technology, advocacy, and dozens of other specialties, PATH develops and scales up innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing heath challenges.  This role is based in Pakistan PATH’s Centre for Data and Digital Excellence is leading an ambitious initiative to establish new ‘Climate and Health Data Services’ at the heart of several ministries of health. These services will integrate fragmented climate and health data streams, generate actionable insights for policy, and strengthen government capacity to anticipate and respond to climate-sensitive health risks. Role Overview The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for the project management and executing the Climate and Health Data Services project in Pakistan.  This person will work closely with academic partners, developers and government stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and implementation of the work package. This position is a blend of hands-on project manager, systems analyst, and technical resource requiring applied skills in systems thinking, program management, client relationship management and working with multiple technical teams to support program delivery. Responsibilities:  1. Program Management & Delivery Lead day-to-day program coordination for project in Pakistan, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met on time and within budget. Initiate and manage RFP to identify developers for the Climate and Health dashboard and decision-making tools Manage activities and inputs across country (AKU and Developer) and global partners (SEI & PATH HQ) Contribute to donor and partner reports, highlighting progress, risks, and lessons learned. 2. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication Lead stakeholder engagement to develop and maintain strong relationships with the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Climate Change and the national meteorological services Support existing technical working groups and organize necessary workshops and co-design sessions with stakeholders as per the workplan. Ensure effective communication of project objectives, timelines, and outputs to diverse stakeholders, including policymakers, academics, and community representatives. 3. Research & Training Contributions Establish and implement training and applied learning activities (e.g., PATH’s Digital Health Applied Leadership Program) to build government and partner capacity. Advance the catalytic grants process in Pakistan to local innovators and institutions, ensuring alignment with project goals. Coordinate with the government to develop a transition plan, including preparing a business case and financial roadmap for potential donors. Develop and execute a dissemination plan, ensuring timely delivery of manuscripts, policy briefs, learning briefs, and other communication materials. Contribute to other research activities as required. Minimum Qualifications: Advanced degree at the intersection of climate and: public health, or international development, or equivalent professional experience. Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, monitoring, and reporting. Demonstrated ability to coordinate diverse stakeholders across sectors and geographies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing donor reports. Strong facilitation and diplomacy skills to manage politically sensitive relationships. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with Pakistan ministries of health, meteorological services, or other government institutions. Familiarity with digital health systems (e.g., DHIS2), climate data services, or health information systems. Experience managing consortia with academic, NGO, and private-sector partners. Understanding of donor and multilateral funding mechanisms (e.g., GCF, World Bank, AIIB). Proficiency in Urdu or regional languages for effective communication with local partners We know great candidates won’t always meet every listed qualification.
