We work directly with national governments in low and middle-income countries to select, adapt and scale   appropriate service   delivery and system strengthening interventions to address health challenges specific to malaria.     PATH seeks a   Program Assistant   for the   Malawi   project team   for the US Government (USG)-funded “Reaching Every At-risk Community and Household with Malaria Services” (REACH Malaria) global contract in Malawi . PMI REACH Malaria aims to provide implementation support services and technical assistance to countries to accelerate progress in comprehensive delivery of facility and community-based malaria services, including malaria case management, prevention of malaria in pregnancy ( MiP ), malaria diagnostics, data collection and use for service delivery, and other maternal, child health and nutrition interventions.     The   Program   Assistant   will report to the   Program Administrative Manager   and   will provide logistical and administrative support to help   introduce and implement malaria , nutrition, and maternal and child health   support services, and coordinate with relevant ministries of health, PATH technical   teams   and other implementing partners globally.   The   Program Assistant   will be   based within a REACH Malaria country team, within a broader PATH country office .     Responsibilities:   Work closely with   REACH Malaria   and Ministry of Health program administrative focal point to assist and provide technical support for planned and unplanned events and meetings.     Collaborate with   finance and program t eam to provide support in the implementation of projects as defined in the workplan.      Participate in activities during and after meetings, such as setting up conferences and online calls, taking minutes,   and   assisting   the   Chief of Party   with follow-up activities.     Assist the   Malaria, Nutrition, and Maternal and Child Health Technical Advisors   in planning and coordinating the full range of   logistics   for workshops, meetings, and fieldwork exercises.     Develop detailed budgets for activities; prepare financial reports for workshops, meetings, and fieldwork exercises.     Initiate payment processes in BusinessWorld and follow up with the accounting team to ensure that vendor invoices are paid   in a timely manner .     Ensure that all financial transactions are properly coded and charged to the correct project codes.     Coordinate with project teams to ensure smooth coordination of administrative tasks.     Work closely with the procurement team to coordinate the purchase of project services and supplies.     Coordinate travel arrangements for team members and consultants; Monitor team member travel schedules, including support for changing arrangements during travel and follow-up activities such as reimbursement requests.     Support the development and implementation of project management systems to coordinate, track, analyze, and report progress on all project-related activities.    Participate in the process of monitoring the implementation of key project tasks and recommendations, with a focus on operational aspects.      Participate in program development, proposal writing, and budgeting as   required .     Provide support to the PADM to ensure the accuracy of the inventory of the project.     Perform any other relevant duties as may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.     Required skills and experience:   Degree in Accounting, Management, Business Administration, or related field with at least   2   years of experience    Ability to work in   a multi -site project team with minimal supervision, including   a demonstrated   history of being a proactive problem solver who can work effectively under   deadlines.      Excellent attention to detail and results focused while able to adapt to changing   priorities.      Strong interpersonal and organizational skills     Ability to organize and implement events for large groups and international   guests.      Excellent and   demonstrated   organization, communication, and writing   skills.      Ability to manage time efficiently and work   independently.      Experience working with International NGOs and donors is   preferred.     Fluency in written and oral English is   required .   Ability and willingness to   travel.     Proficiency   in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook and Teams
