Role Overview We are looking for a Senior .NET (C#) Engineer responsible for translating application storyboards and use cases into functional applications within a complex, high-performance environment. You will work on maintaining existing systems (including compliance updates), developing new features, and contributing to test automation. A commitment to collaborative problem-solving, pragmatic design, and delivering high-quality software is essential. What you will do Convert application storyboards and use cases into fully functional .NET applications. Maintain current system and ensure ongoing compliance and reliability. Develop new features and functionalities in response to evolving business needs. Identify bottlenecks, optimize existing code, and leverage threading/concurrency to ensure responsiveness and scalability. Contribute to automated testing efforts and maintain clean, organized, and robust code. Investigate complex issues via logs and dumps, perform root-cause analysis, and propose straightforward solutions. Take full ownership of assigned tasks, driving them from requirements to successful completion with minimal supervision. Who you are Strong understanding of the .NET ecosystem, including relevant libraries and frameworks. Knowledge of concurrency patterns, multi-threading, and synchronization in .NET. Familiarity with web technologies (XML, XLS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Demonstrated ability to apply design and architectural patterns to solve complex challenges. Commitment to writing maintainable, well-documented, and testable code. Able to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently—from logs and dumps—and propose practical solutions. Experience with writing and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning. Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable, high-performance application. Proficient with Git or similar tools, including branching and merging strategies. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing. Familiarity with payment industry standards (ISO 8583, ISO 20022, EMV, PCI-DSS), HSMs, and cryptography is a plus. Self-driven with strong communication skills, capable of working independently and within a team.
