The shipping position in Shakopee is the final stop before an order ships from our facility but represents the first impression for the hearing professional or the end-user of the order. Ship to company standards and goals Pack out all level 1-3 orders per work instructions Ability to read and understand a Pick Ticket & Shipping Documents Manages the shipment of all products, materials and supplies Confirm accuracy of orders Ship product through multiple carriers (international, ground, express, USPS, etc.) as required Perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy Accomplish other duties as required Competencies (Knowledge and Skills needed for this position.) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Read, Write, and Speaks English Attention to detail and ability to work with a sense of urgency. Ability to adapt to/work in a dynamic workplace environment Excellent organizational and time management skills Able to use hands for long periods of time preferred Required Education: High School Diploma/GED   Experience: Hearing Aid Manufacturing experience a plus Working Environment: The position will be working in the Operations area.  Physical Demands: The below physical demands are appropriate for both Shipping 1 and Shipping 2 job descriptions. Able to stand or sit for long periods of time.  Able to lift 25 pounds by self and 50+ pounds with a team lift.  (i.e. Sitting, standing, lifting, bending, reaching, etc.) Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position working Monday – Friday. The daily hours are 8-10 hours per day.
