We’re looking for a mid-senior level engineer to be part of our growing team of technologists. As a SDE III, you’ll write software alongside a team of global engineers on projects that matter to our customers and business travelers, and have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers. What You’ll Do  Design and implement next-generation highly scalable, and reliable SaaS applications  Translate functional specifications into logical, component-based technical designs  Own delivery of application features end-to-end by working with product and engineering teams  Innovate and implement new ideas to solve software problems and improve customer experience  Participate in design and code reviews  Work closely with geographically distributed team members  Mentor, support and develop junior engineers  Seek and share domain and industry knowledge with the team to improve engineering practices  What We’re Looking For  Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent  5+ years of experience in software development in Java Strong understanding of distributed systems  Design and develop scalable applications using Python and Java Building and delivering multi-tenant cloud-native SaaS software  Passionate about collaboration and incorporating feedback from partners  Communicates complex information in a concise and clear way to technical and non-technical partners ​       Location Gurgaon, India       The #TeamGBT Experience Work and life: Find your happy medium at Amex GBT.
