What You’ll Do Design and implement next-generation highly scalable, and reliable SaaS applications Translate functional specifications into logical, component-based technical designs Own delivery of application features end-to-end Innovate and implement new ideas to solve complex software problems Participate in code reviews Work closely with geographically distributed team members Mentor, support and develop junior engineers What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent 2+ years of experience in software development Core Skills and Knowledge Areas Front-end web technologies (JavaScript, Node, or React) and frameworks, CSS Enterprise web applications (Java, Kotlin, or Spring) AI Technologies (Spring AI, A2A, MCP) Object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms SDLC and agile methodologies, and agile tools and programming practices CI-CD principles and technologies Sharp debugging skills with passion for finding bugs and fixing them Beneficial If You Have AWS services (developing and deploying AWS cloud-based platforms) Insight about server-side design patterns Passionate about collaboration and incorporating feedback from partners #GBTJobs       Location Manchester, United Kingdom       The #TeamGBT Experience Work and life: Find your happy medium at Amex GBT.
