Role Summary As a Senior Software Engineer you will develop innovative products, services and interfaces for our customers and partners. Key contributor to web design and architecture to deliver the best user experience. We expect engineers to have the desire of curiosity, passion, a driven, enthusiastic mentality, to be proficient in algorithms, problem solving, and crafting scalable, resilient, and fault-tolerant architectures. Effective communication is an attribute we care deeply about, as an engineer you and your team will move in a fast-paced engineering environment to achieve outstanding results. What You Will Be Doing You will contribute to business-critical acquisition journeys for cards and loans, building and improving high-traffic, customer-facing websites and campaign experiences. Alongside delivery, you actively mentor and share knowledge with other front-end teams, helping raise engineering standards and drive better outcomes across the organisation. Your Skills and Experience You will possess advanced React experience using TypeScript. Strong Node.js knowledge for service and API development. Solid testing experience covering code quality, security, customer journeys, and accessibility. Experience integrating with services via RESTful APIs. Experience with agile software development methodologies. Practical experience setting up and running CI/CD pipelines. Experience collaborating with cloud platform services. Familiarity with Storybook, atomic design principles, and language systems for building interfaces. Desirable Familiarity with Azure cloud platform services. Experience managing monorepo project structures using tools such as Turborepo or Nx. Experience being on call, with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Azure AppInsights, Grafana).
