About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Pricing System Analyst to join Wiley’s Global Pricing & Strategy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies that maximize revenue and profitability while growing Wiley’s market share. We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Pricing Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing market trends, developing pricing strategies, and ensuring competitive pricing for our products and services. The Global Pricing and Strategy team is contained within Wiley’s Revenue Strategy and Operations team, which oversees the execution and implementation of revenue growth initiatives and operational efficiency across Wiley’s sales organizations. The team is responsible for supporting pricing activities for annual sales exceeding $1 billion. How you will make an impact: Develop and execute pricing strategies to achieve business objectives and maximize profitability Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify pricing opportunities and trends Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, marketing, and finance, to align pricing strategies with overall business goals Monitor and analyze pricing performance and make data-driven recommendations for adjustments Develop pricing models and tools to support decision-making processes. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on pricing strategies and initiatives Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in pricing strategy What we look for: Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to tell a compelling story with data, efficiently summarize analysis, and prepare presentation materials for executive leaders Outstanding analytical skills with the ability to develop business insights from large data sets using tools like Excel, Power BI, SQL Initiative, the ability to multitask, and contribute to special projects as they arise Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to be forward-thinking High degree of achievement, drive, and interest in helping to drive strategic initiatives and change across an organization Understanding of the publishing industry is a plus, but not required About Wiley: Wiley is a trusted leader in research and learning, our pioneering solutions and services are paving the way for knowledge seekers as they work to solve the world's most important challenges.
