About the Role: We are seeking an Account Manager, Health to manage, retain, and grow our institutional customer base across the Health sector. In this highly autonomous role, you will oversee a portfolio of healthcare‑related accounts, driving renewals, expanding product adoption, and identifying new opportunities across journals, non‑journal solutions, and AI‑supported research offerings. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams globally, leveraging data, market insights, and strong customer relationships to ensure Wiley continues to deliver meaningful value to Health customers across the region. How you will make an impact Independently manage a portfolio of institutional Health customers, including ongoing account planning, goal‑setting, and performance review. Renew and renegotiate journal and non‑journal agreements to maintain strong revenue retention and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Identify and drive non‑journal cross‑sell opportunities and introduce AI platform offerings to deepen customer engagement. Analyze usage trends and customer data to assess account health, mitigate risk, and inform proactive engagement strategies. Provide timely, effective responses to customer questions and issues, strengthening long‑term relationships and defending revenue. Conduct in‑depth customer research and gather market insights to tailor your outreach and elevate customer conversations. Facilitate data‑driven negotiations that align stakeholders and deliver successful contract outcomes. Partner with internal teams across time zones to support customer needs and maintain accurate CRM documentation. Delegate smaller renewals and administrative tasks to Sales Coordinators to ensure efficient focus on strategic activities. What we look for: A 4‑year undergraduate degree. 3+ years of institutional sales experience, ideally within publishing, information services, or technology. Understanding of AI applications in research and Health environments. Fluency in Korean and English; an additional Asian language is a strong advantage. Experience in the healthcare sector is highly valuable. Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship‑building capabilities. Ability to work independently, manage your own territory, and operate with resilience under pressure. Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills, especially across multiple time zones. A self‑motivated, data‑driven, customer‑centric approach to achieving results.
