In this role, you will be essential in ensuring the quality and reliability of our embedded systems. You will drive test automation strategies, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate closely with development and product teams.     What You’ll Do • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for embedded firmware validation. • Create and execute test plans and test cases for embedded systems, including unit, integration, system, and regression testing. • Work closely with firmware developers to understand system architecture and define test strategies. • Develop scripts and tools to automate testing on hardware platforms (e.g., using Python, shell scripting, etc). • Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues. • Participate in code reviews and contribute to test strategy and planning. • Contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines for embedded firmware. • Maintain test environments, including hardware test benches and simulators. •  Other QA duties as assigned     What You’ll Bring Essential Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • At least 4-6 years of experience in QA automation or software testing. • Experience with embedded Linux development and testing • Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (Python). • Experience with automation tools such as Appium, Selenium or similar. • Familiarity with RESTful API testing and tools like Postman or similar • Experience with version control systems (GitHub) and CI/CD tools • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices. • An independent worker who can take the initiative to develop test methods, automation methods • A team player that works hard, admits his/her strengths and weaknesses, and has the flexibility to improve by learning new things • Excellent communication skills, which include active listening and the ability to present complex ideas in concise written and verbal descriptions which are easily understood by both technical and non-technical audiences  Bonus Qualifications • Experience with large scale telematics and/or internet of things experience • Experience with reporting and visualization tools for the purpose of beta and production monitoring • ISTQB Test certification   It is impossible to list every requirement for, or responsibility of, any position.  Similarly, we cannot identify all the skills a position may require since job responsibilities and the Company’s needs may change over time.  Therefore, the above job description is not comprehensive or exhaustive.   The Company reserves the right to adjust, add to or eliminate any aspect of the above description.  The Company also retains the right to require all employees to undertake additional or different job responsibilities when necessary to meet business needs. #LI-MG1
