This SCM Engineer will be a part of a team of 15+ engineers responsible for deploying Solera applications to production environments in a standardized way across Solera’s state-of-the-art data centers and within multiple public clouds.   What You’ll Do Work collaboratively with other operations leads to implement deployment automation solutions for Solera products and projects Work on the tasks assigned by SCM Lead or Architect. Participate in an on-call rotation with other senior members of the Global IT Operations team. Provide excellence in deployments and support and demonstrate curiosity in gaining knowledge. An individual will report to Manager and will be working closely on handover projects, automation and handling regular releases. Should be part of POC design, development, and implementation of SCM tools. Always thrive for tuning the SCM tools and making sure there is no tech debt. Ensure the SCM team is aligned with the strategy of the company.     What You’ll Bring 1+ years in systems administration, engineering, or DevOps with a demonstrated focus on application automation. Programming experience with shell and scripting languages like Bash, Python, Perl, PowerShell is needed. Good understanding of CI/CD is needed.   Experience with automation tools like Jenkins and Git is a plus. Experience with container platforms like Docker. Configuration management and command execution framework experience is a plus. Good understanding of system and networking concepts and troubleshooting techniques. Adaptable and flexible to meet demands. You are relentless and passionate about getting the job done.
