As a valued member of the team, you’ll do exciting, challenging work, solve real world problems, and make a meaningful impact. You’ll learn about the business and build your professional network by working closely with other skilled people at TC Energy. Every day will enhance your knowledge, skills and passion for what you do.   What you’ll do Support engagement activities with Indigenous Nations Support engagement with municipal governments and community groups Help develop and execute workplans and engagement plans tied to regulatory proceedings Attend community events and manage information booths or virtual sessions Document community interactions and respond to questions from community members Assist in creating digital and print materials Support the development and execution of a social media strategy Assess, review, edit and advise on communications plans and content Support planning for project representation at conferences, booths, speaking engagements, and sponsorships Minimum Qualifications Actively enrolled in a relevant post-secondary field such as communications, journalism, indigenous relations, political science or business or related undergraduate degree program with at least one semester of education completed Enrollment at an accredited University or College , and returning to school for at least one semester following your work term Intermediate to advanced understanding of Microsoft 365 applications, specifically PowerPoint and SharePoint Excellent verbal and written communication skills   Preferred Qualifications Demonstrate a safety mindset, in a professional and personal setting Exhibit the TC Energy corporate values and incorporate them into work activities and initiatives Strong interpersonal and communicative skills to work efficiently in a collaborative team environment Commitment to building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders Ability to accurately analyze information and deal with ambiguity Experience working in a dynamic and challenging environment, and adaptable to changing priorities Ability to multi-task effectively, with strong organizational and time management skills Reflective and committed to continuous improvement and personal development To remain competitive, support our high-performance culture and allow for more flexibility in the way we work, we offer a hybrid work model and flexible dress code for our eligible office-based workforce in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico. #LI-Hybrid   About our business We are a leader in North American energy infrastructure, spanning Canada, the U.S. and Mexico.
