Salary 68,600 UAH gross JOB OVERVIEW The psychologist will provide specialized psychological counseling to clients with moderate to severe mental health conditions in community and home-based settings. The role includes individual counseling, group and psychoeducational sessions, and needs assessments through mobile MHPSS teams, with the development of individualized case management plans. Working closely with a nurse, the psychologist will support highly vulnerable beneficiaries through home visits, provide Psychological First Aid (PFA) and remote counseling when needed, and manage urgent cases, including referrals. The position requires conducting structured clinical assessments, maintaining strict confidentiality and accurate documentation, and actively participating in supervision and case management meetings in coordination with the Ministry of Health.nThe work will be carried out in Mykolyaiv, Odesa and Kherson regions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Provide specialized psychological counseling. - Conduct group or information sessions, trainings and psychoeducation. - Assess the specific needs of beneficiaries and develop individualized case management strategies accordingly. - Provide psychological first aid (PFA) and remote psychological counseling online and by phone, as needed. - Perform structured clinical assessments and formulate clear case plans based on cognitive, behavioral and emotional needs. - Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure organized documentation of assessments, reviews, and follow-ups. - Effectively manage urgent cases and make appropriate referrals. - Ensure accurate and timely documentation of services provided while maintaining client confidentiality. - Actively participate in supervisory meetings with the MHPSS manager and MHPSS specialist. - Provide MHPSS services in emergency situations. - Perform any other tasks deemed necessary by the supervisor to support the objectives of the MHPSS program. JOB REQUIREMENTS  - At least a bachelor's degree or higher in psychology - Knowledge and experience in clinical supervision and training. - Knowledge of and experience with inter-agency MHPSS standards and guidelines, such as the IASC Guidelines for Mental Health and Psychosocial Support in Emergencies. Education: - Professional experience in the practice of clinical psychology and providing specialized psychological counseling in a humanitarian setting through a non-governmental organization. - Previous experience in health programs and experience working in an NGO is desirable. Experience: - A clear understanding of protection, case management and client-centered care in humanitarian settings. - Fluency in Ukrainian and Russian is required, and basic knowledge of English is desirable. - IT skills, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint, are essential for tasks such as data collection, map updates and detailed weekly outreach reports. REPORTING STRUCTURE AND TEAM COLLABORATION The position reports to the Senior Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Officer and Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Manager. WORK ENVIRONMENT AND OTHER RELEVANT INFORMATION -    This position is full-time. -    Regular site visits are required. -    Business trips are possible. -    Occasionally, you may be required to work on weekends.
