THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE Santander Insurance is looking for an Insurance Planning & Performance Management – Analyst I, based in Madrid (Paseo de la Castellana, 24). You will support the preparation and consolidation of performance reports, contributing to the business monitoring of Santander Insurance bancassurance operations across 10+ geographies in Europe, North America, and Latin America, by ensuring meaningful analysis of the business to anticipate warnings and prioritise business levers.   We’re shaping the way we work  through innovation, cutting-edge technology, collaboration and the freedom to explore new ideas. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for • Participate in the preparation of regular performance and planning business reports for the Bancassurance business at a global level.  • Consolidate and analyze data from different geographies and internal/ external sources.  • Develop and maintain Excel/Power Bi models and templates to automate and optimize report generation.  • Support the creation of dashboards and PowerPoint documents, facilitating the visualization and analysis of key KPIs.  • Ensure the consistency, accuracy, and traceability of the information used in reports.  • Collaborate with local teams in different countries to coordinate timely delivery of reports ,  resolve issues and  clarify data.  • Participate in ad hoc analyses and the preparation of executive presentations:  WHAT YOU’LL BRING Our people are our greatest strength. Professional Experience • 2–3 years of experience in analysis, management control, financial planning, or reporting, preferably in bancassurance, insurance, or consulting -required-. • Basic knowledge of accounting, finance, and business KPIs (e.g., Gross Written Premium, AUMs, new business and in-force policies, product mix, commission schemes, financial targets) -required-. • Familiarity with databases and analytical tools (SQL, Access, or similar) is desirable. Education • University degree in Actuarial Science, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields -required-. Languages • Fluent in English and Spanish -required- (Portuguese highly desirable). Hard Skills • Advanced Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, macros, charts) PowerPoint, and ThinkCell- required-. • Knowledge of Power BI or similar data visualization tools - preferred-.
