Job Responsibilities: Salary Range: Starting at $ 60,000 annually Job Responsibilities: Responsible for review and update of the shortage board communication daily Follow up daily on supplier schedules to ensure on time delivery of parts to protect production plans. Ensure past due requirements have an action plan for recovery. Communicate any part shortages to master scheduler(s) and production supervisors and participate in recovery plan. Take the lead in supplier management converting customer requirements via MRP into a release schedule to achieve optimal supply of parts to meet the production schedule. Manage and monitor vendor relationships in a collaborative and professional manner. Review changes in customer demand and make appropriate adjustments to release quantities to support production requirements. Check daily MRP exceptions to schedules and review to determine possible cause, communicate with master scheduler and supplier, the change in requirements. Monitor supplier delivery performance, for any late and/or reoccurring delivery concerns. Initiate escalation / QPFs process Ensure proper control systems to check incoming material against schedules. Analyze MRP report daily/weekly to ensure support to production builds. Maintain stability and minimize fluctuations. Responsible for analyzing and maintaining part /po setups/ planning parameters to ensure optimal coverage without excess inventory.  Work with BOM admin & ECN coordinator to manage effectivity dates (ICN timing) on releases to support trials and line builds. Manage supplier part levels for coordination of engineering changes. Ensure proper level is scheduled based on demand. Works with inventory, warehouse and supplier to ensure receiving accuracy and takes lead in cum reconciliation. Ensure parts requiring attention reports are maintained as required. Attend all mandatory job training assigned. Participate in Annual Physical Inventory. Complete weekly/daily/monthly metrics as required. Ensure premium freight inbound/outbound is approved prior to booking, monitored, and tracked daily/weekly/monthly. Participate in supplier resource recommendation and coordination. Identifies and establishes systems and processes to ensure integrity. Perform other duties as required. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Completion of high school or equivalent. 3 to less than 5 years of work-related experience.
