Job Responsibilities: Location: Graz / asap / duration 3 months Are you currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a technical focus and looking for a partner company to write your thesis? Perfect! Magna Steyr is currently seeking a bachelor’s student to join us in the area of AI and CFD respectively. The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to create a training and verification database out of historical full vehicle geometry data. You will work with external geometries for external aerodynamics as well as internal geometry for cabin flow. The database will be used in several projects to train AI models for geometry preparation (AI model training and validation are not in the scope of this thesis). The dataset will be split into a training set and a verification set. The following scopes should therefore be included in your bachelor's thesis: Collecting of historical geometry data (CAD and mesh data) Separate dataset into training and verification data Prepare and organize dataset in a logical way Make sure that the data quality and preparation is identical for all vehicles Documentation of all work including conclusion and recommendation for application Who we are looking for Ongoing technical study at the university / university of applied sciences First experiences through internships and study projects would be beneficial Knowledge in handling of CAD or tessellated data is an advantage Basic knowledge of ANSA is an advantage Knowledge and experience in the field 3d simulation (CFD or FEM) are beneficial but not necessary Your preferred qualifications Strong interest in the automotive industry High level of helpfulness and excellent communication skills Site Benefits Mobility offers and parking spaces - Arriving at work is easy!
