Job Responsibilities: Position Overview The Quality and Manufacturing Intern will focus on specific process improvement projects that directly support the 2025 Magna Strategy and Goals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: IPCP audits and updates Create standard operating procedure documents Torque studies Process Trial run assistance Assist with daily root cause investigation and analysis Update build information on assembly line reference forms Follow Mafact improvement ideas and projects. Time studies MSA studies PFMEA, control plan, in process paperwork updates Sort coordination Rework Root cause analysis Qualifications: Some related experience preferred Education / Experience General computer skills Lean Manufacturing knowledge Problem solving methods General knowledge of assembly Special Knowledge / Skills: The ideal candidate is pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Engineering / Industrial Engineering Candidates should be entering their junior or senior year or enrolled in a graduate program. Limited travel may be required Physical Demands / Work Environment: Strong written and verbal communication skills Proven organizational skills capable of managing multiple tasks and projects.
