The Job: As a Senior IT Manager, you’ll be part of our IT Global Manufacturing team working as a remote employee. You’ll get to: Collaboration with Business Partners: Engage with business leaders to understand operational challenges and identify technology-driven solutions. Facilitate communication between IT teams and business units to ensure alignment of goals and priorities. Act as a trusted advisor to business partners, providing insights on emerging technologies and their potential impact. Strategic Planning & Program management Develop and execute IT strategies tailored to the needs of manufacturing plants in the EMEA region. Plan and oversee system upgrades, process improvements, and technology roadmaps to support long-term business objectives. Identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency improvements within manufacturing IT systems. Develop a detailed roadmap for the SAP/system rollout/upgrades, including scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables to ensure alignment with business goals. Leadership Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Encourage collaboration and innovation within the team to address complex challenges. Set clear performance goals and provide regular feedback to team members. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure high-quality IT services. Negotiate contracts and monitor vendor performance to meet organizational standards. Compliance and Security: Ensure IT systems comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and cybersecurity best practices. Implement measures to safeguard sensitive manufacturing data and systems. Develop strategies to identify tech debt & potential risks, implementing mitigation strategies. In fact, you embrace it. You also have: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred Experience in IT management, with a focus on manufacturing - within a leadership role. Experience in, leading major SAP/ERP programs & initiatives Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and systems, including MES & shopfloor technologies. Proven experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience with ITIL frameworks and project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PMP). Knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity principles.
