Job Responsibilities: Job Overview The Senior Financial Analyst plays a critical role in reviewing financial metrics, accounts, and processes to ensure compliance, identify improvement opportunities, and support strategic decision-making. This position supports plant leadership by delivering accurate financial analysis, managing key programs such as the Steel Resale Program, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within Finance. Roles & Responsibilities Analyze financial statements, general ledger activity, and periodic financial results. Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close. Monitor and manage the Steel Resale Program , serving as Finance liaison between OEMs and internal teams. Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and analyses to support management decision-making. Support Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) reporting and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and internal financial controls. Assist with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and cross-functional finance support as needed. Participate in ad hoc projects to improve financial processes, controls, and efficiency. Education & Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Experience working with steel suppliers, OEMs, budgeting systems, or compliance audits is highly desirable. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel . Experience with integrated financial and manufacturing software systems. Ability to interpret technical and financial data. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
