The Job:    As a Shipping & Receiving Clerk, you’ll be part of our Product Service Division working as an on-site employee.  You’ll get to: Utilize your knowledge of SB&D shipping procedures to verify and maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments at the Service Center. Prepare items for shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards. Identify and confirm shipment details against invoices, orders, and other records. Unpack and inspect incoming shipments, reject damaged items, and record any shortages. Communicate with shippers and customers to resolve issues related to damages and shortages. Provide excellent customer service, including answering phones and assisting customers both at the counter and via phone. Conduct customer sales and service transactions efficiently and professionally. Strive to achieve Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) goals set for the center by the division. Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment, adhering to prescribed safety regulations. Interpret packing slips and accurately enter information into the computer system to acknowledge receipt of goods in the purchase order and processing database. Assist at the front counter during CSR breaks and peak hours as needed. The Person:    You love to learn and grow and be acknowledged for your valuable contributions. You also have:  The ability to work Monday through Friday full-time with additional hours as needed to meet customer demands Preferably prior experience in shipping & receiving operations in a warehouse, retail, etc. environment Adaptability in using various technological systems and familiarity with data entry and record-keeping systems Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Operate with a high degree of integrity and accountability Strong attention to detail The Person: You love to learn and grow and be acknowledged for your valuable contributions. You also have: Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS management or a similar role. In-depth knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices. Strong leadership and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
