Job Responsibilities: Department  Electrical System Location Pune Designation  Engineer Role Purpose Robotics Software Engineer Reporting to Manager- Technical Responsibilities/ task Key Responsibilities with brief description according to priority ROS2 simulation environment development in Gazebo, Gazebo Ignition, DRAKE, NVIDIA Issac SIM. ROS2 driver development for robotic manipulator. ROS2 package development of different sensor nodes. Digital-twin generation of sensor and manipulators in different simulation platform. Key Performance Indicators On time delivery Zero quality issue Process compliance 100 % Role Requirement (Expectations) Level (mention desired level for each skill set) Educational Qualification Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field. No. of years of work experience 5+ years of experience in robotics Critical Skill Sets (Software / Technical) Essential:   Familiarity with control systems, sensors (Camera, LIDAR etc), and actuators. Experience with software development for robotic systems in ROS2 using MOVEIT2, NAV2 for perception, navigation, and control. Strong programming skills in Python, C++, ROS2, XML. Experience with path planning algorithms, motion planning, and obstacle avoidance. Experience with real-time processing of sensor data. Strong analytical and problem-solving skill. Desirable: Experience with working in robot manipulator. Knowledge of industrial automation and manufacturing process. Experience with robot manipulator simulation using MOVEIT2 in ROS2. Experience with simulation software such as Gazebo, Gazebo ignition, Drake. Experience with hardware interfacing with ROS2.
