About Our Internship Program: Throughout your internship, you will have regular events, weekly lunch and learn sessions, and receive customized training from our business units. Interns are expected to adapt to change and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, creativity, and confidence. Interns must be team-oriented and collaborative. The Job: During your internship you will have the opportunity to support Information Technology with key activities including: Work with business users to define and analyze problems and align the most suitable technical, application or configuration solutions. Solicit, develop, document and manage requirements and provide design and business rules to support the requirements throughout the project life cycle up to and through change control. Upgrade and monitor production performance enhancements and system integrity with end users and develop detailed implementation and upgrade project plans in conjunction with other account team associates. You will have exposure to several areas of the Information Technology at Stanley Black & Decker and will work on a wide variety of tasks and projects with a cross functional team of professionals. Strong Academic Credentials Knowledge of basic principles, methods, technologies, and practices of a professional/technical field. Successfully manage strong academics with extracurricular activities. Information Technology Internships are available in the following locations: Towson, MD, New Britain, CT The pay range for this position in Maryland is $22.00- $27.00 per hour. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience as well as major and years of school completed.
