We are committed to hiring the best, most talented people  and empowering them to  thrive, grow meaningful careers and to find a place where they belong.  Whether you’ve got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades or technology, or you’re looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward.    Role Summary   We’re   looking for a n excellent communicator, with a passion for data and the ability to deliver a data governance framework that   will form   the   foundation   for   market lead ing   CRE leasing data   at JLL.     The   Data Management Lead   will   marry their influential communication style   with a deep, and demonstrable, knowledge of   successfully   implementing data governance   frameworks .   In addition to their technical data knowledge , the correct candidate will   be an agent for change and   a key individual   as we   evolve the data maturity of our business.     The   role   will   be responsible for   creat ing   and enfor cing   policies   and governance   for effective data   management, both for the team of data   professionals they manage as well as the wider business.   This will include   establishing   robust   processes for   data collection   and   maintenance   as well as   monitor ing   and analy sing   data quality and usage.   The role will be   a   data S ME   to the business   and   provide authority, support and guidance on   the use and value of   the data under their management.   You will have the opportunity to work with like-minded individuals across the EMEA and APAC regions.      Y ou’ll   gain a strong understanding of how the UK leasing business   operates   so that we can   align   the   existing   business processes   with the most effective data governance structures .   This will require close collaboration with both the   stakeholders on the business side and the various internal and external product teams who develop and   maintain   our platforms.     Responsibilities   Design, implement and run a data governance framework   that enables us to own   market leading CRE leasing data   Lead and represent the data team and strategy to senior business stakeholders, gaining their support and managing the business change   I mplement   effective proced ures for data   usage   and analysis    Determine   rules and procedures for data sharing   and accessibility   Provide s upport   and guidance on the   use of data systems and ensure adherence to legal and company standards   Ownership over data related activities as   such as data   cleansing and migration projects    Assist   with reports and data extraction when needed   Monitor and   analyse   information and data systems and evaluate their performance to discover ways of enhancing them ( new technologies , upgrades etc.)   Troubleshoot data-related problems and authorize maintenance or modifications   Work with business users to understand   what challenges and improvements are needed and   own the strategic roadmap to address these requirements   Skills   Strong   communication   &   s takeholder management   skills,   with the   ability to communicate across all business levels   Proven experience   in a   data manage ment role   Excellent understanding of data administration and management functions (collection, analysis, distribution etc.)   Familiarity with modern database and information system technologies   Highly o rganised, able to work independently and effectively manage workload   Ability to multitask and prioritise   own workload     Strong   user of Microsoft office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint   Attention to detail, accuracy   Self-motivated,   enthusiastic   and able to work on own initiative     Beneficial:   Use of data querying and data visualisation tools (SQL, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)   Experience   3 +   years’ experience   in   a   data governance or   data   m anagement   role   Proven a bility   t o   manage a team of data   specialists   to achieve set goals   Demonstrable experience in   implementing and enhancing data governance processes   Coordinating between multiple parties to successfully deliver change management   Creation of automated data quality and usage reporting   Understanding of data architecture and database management   Behaviours   Flexible   Trustworthy   Organised   Location: On-site –London, GBR If this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet all of the requirements.  We’re interested in getting to know you and what you bring to the table!
