A Day in the Life We are seeking a skilled and innovative Mobile Application Developer to join our team. This role focuses on designing, developing, and testing Android and iOS applications to support Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mobile technologies, and a commitment to delivering high-quality user experience. As a Senior Software Engineer – iOS, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining advanced applications for the iOS platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and innovative mobile solutions that impact patient safety. This position requires deep technical expertise, and a passion for mobile technologies. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: ​ Design, develop, and maintain iOS applications tailored for BYOD environments using Swift and/or Objective-C, Kotlin (KMM) Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers and backend developers, to define application requirements and ensure seamless integration. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using modern frameworks and tools. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications Conduct thorough testing of mobile applications to ensure reliability, performance, and security. Debug and resolve issues, ensuring applications run smoothly across various devices and operating systems. Stay updated on the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in mobile application development and BYOD solutions. Provide documentation for applications and support end-users as needed. Required Knowledge and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience – 8 to 12 years. Proven experience in developing and deploying mobile applications for iOS and/or Android platforms Proficiency in programming languages such as Swift, and/or Objective-C. Familiarity with Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile is a plus. Strong understanding of mobile app lifecycle, architecture, and security best practices. Experience with testing frameworks and tools for iOS. Familiarity working with BT telemetry is a plus. Knowledge of BYOD policies and challenges is an advantage. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
